Xmod Wheel Upgrade Review

I purchased these rims from a website called Team MNM

I found his site to be fairly straight forward and he has a nice selection of upgrades for purchase everything from Li-on kits to various parts including some custom motors and decals!

I liked the fact that his site uses Paypal for all transactions, I prefer this method of payment as it is vastly more secure than using your Credit Card and you can pay the items directly from any bank account registered with Paypal also all exchange rates are taken care of for you and you can choose which currency you wish to pay with!

I'm located in Canada so I'm subject to duty and something called the GST and PST (basically tax, tax and more Tax) and I also get dinged with Importation fees by those nice folks who ensure I'm paying my Tax's on the item being Imported. I don't like ordering outside of canada if I can avoid it! Unfortunately most of the Xmod stuff is, for now anyway a United States market.

I received the package in 7 days and it was well wrapped and arrived undamaged. When I ordered it was a flat shipping rate of $5 since my order I noticed it dropped to $3 but now an additional charge of $2 is added for delivery to Canada so it's still $5 no matter how you look at it.

The cost for the rims (set of four) was $6.00 a decent price (I purchased these before The SourceCC started carrying them in 2005)

The only comments I have about the rims in general was that they are made of plastic and had no defects from the molding process, also they fit properly and accepted the Xmod tires with no issues.

All other comments are best addressed by simply looking at the Photos and judging for yourself if this is the type of rim upgrade that works for you!

I hope this review was helpful
